Something we have gathered from speaking with clients is that often salon service menus make a lot of sense to hairstylists, but can leave clients feeling very confused. We’ve broken down what each service entails here. We will always recommend what services we think are appropriate for you. This is a guide to our services so you have a better understanding of what to book. And of course, please call us if you have questions when booking!
COLOR AND LIGHTENING SERVICES
ALL OVER COLOR SERVICE
Looking to change your hair color to one solid color? This is the service for you. An all over color entails one solid color, usually a permanent or a semi-permanent, applying to all of your hair (roots to ends).
COLOR RETOUCH SERVICE
This service is designed to color your hair regrowth to blend your roots to the rest of your hair. If you’re looking to cover natural regrowth at your roots, this is for you!
FULL LIGHTENING SERVICE
This can be traditional full head of foil highlights, babylights, balayage, foilyage, teasylights, etc. It’s okay if you have no idea what those are, we will prescribe whatever techniques fit your desired final look and maintenance schedule!
PARTIAL LIGHTENING SERVICE
This can be traditional partial foil highlights, partial babylights, balayage touch up, etc. It’s okay if you have no idea what those are, we will prescribe whatever techniques fit your inspo and desired maintenance schedule!
FULL COLOR AND LIGHTENING SERVICE
This is a dual technique service which, as it suggests, uses two techniques. For full coverage of hair, a combination of multiple techniques is used. This service can be booked if you’re looking for more coverage. For example, this can be highlights + lowlights, full color and highlights, retouch + full balayage, foils + balayage, etc.
“JUST THE ROOTS” BLEACH AND TONE
This is for guests who are already all over blonde and have 4-8 weeks of regrowth. This service includes a toner to refresh your ends. If you are all over blonde, but have more than 8 weeks of regrowth, you would book a Full Lightening Service due to the need for a more complex application.
COLOR CORRECTION
A service qualifies as a color correction when we are removing previous permanent color, or fixing something that was done at home or another salon. With a color correction, we can’t predict a definite end result, since we are not completely sure what is on the hair or how old color will lift. We will always do our best to achieve your goal, but keeping the integrity of your hair intact is our top priority. This service requires a complimentary in-person consultation and test strand prior to booking.
VIVIDS AND PASTELS
Pink hair? We got you! This is the service is to achieve any colors that don’t grow naturally. Think pink, purple, blue, green, and pastels too! If you have pre-lightened or natural blonde hair you can book this by itself. If not, this would be booked in addition to a lightening service. The more vibrant color you start with, the longer it lasts. Pastel hair can be a great way to try the world of fun colors without a long-lasting commitment, but they do tend to wash out quickly.
EXPRESS COLOR SERVICES
EXPRESS 10 MIN REGROWTH TOUCH UP
Lumi10 is Joico's newest addition! We can touch up your new growth with only a TEN minute processing time! Its a great option for a quick lunch time or after work refresh on your new growth! A color retouch entails applying color to the roots/new growth only to blend with current color of hair.
EXPRESS BLONDE REFRESH
Keep your blonde locks looking fresh without the time! This service is either a root smudge and money piece touch up OR 5-8 highlight foils framing the face and toner to refresh your blonde! Feel like your highlights are getting a little brassy? Or your hair looks less vibrant than it did when it was fresh? You might need a toner! Toner is demi-permanent color that washes out slowly over time. If your ends are feeling dull, this can give them that little extra boost to hold you over until your next color appointment.
